The Transport Company Limited (BorKorSor) has rebranded itself as “BKS” introducing a new image along with a bus ticket booking app and a more serious push into parcel delivery services, starting at Mo Chit 2.
On April 9, 2026, Mr. Attawit Rakjamroon, President of Transport Co., Ltd., officially announced the organization’s rebranding. The company will now communicate under the name “BKS” and has launched two new services directly connected to bus passengers: the “BKS E-Ticket” app and the “BKS Express” parcel delivery service.
This time, BKS made it clear that it aims to shift its image from a “transport operator” to a broader travel and logistics service provider. The name “BKS” was chosen for being shorter, easier to remember, and more flexible for wider communication.
The meaning behind the name is interpreted as follows:
- B (Best): Striving for excellence
- K (Kindness): Providing service with care
- S (Safety): Prioritizing safety above all
The company also emphasized improving service quality, aiming for more professional staff and better customer engagement.
On the ticketing side, BKS introduced the “BKS E-Ticket” app, designed as a one-stop solution: users can book in advance, choose routes and seats, pay online, and receive digital tickets—eliminating the need to queue multiple times. The app is currently under development and will be available for download soon.
For logistics, the company launched “BKS Express,” positioning it as a parcel delivery service leveraging its existing bus route network. This is expected to enable faster deliveries and real-time tracking. The service is designed for both individuals and businesses, with future plans to expand internationally.
Beyond travel and logistics, BKS also introduced plans for “LERKA Marketplace” which will promote OTOP and GI products from local communities to broader markets through station spaces and online channels.
Another initiative involves opening commercial spaces in eight provinces to invite private sector collaboration. These include Bangkok, Chonburi, Rayong, Prachinburi, Ayutthaya, Samut Songkhram, Prachuap Khiri Khan, and Phetchabun—essentially creating additional revenue streams for both stations and the organization.
Regarding Songkran 2026, BKS expects a high volume of travelers:
- April 9: approximately 130,000–140,000 passengers
- April 10: potentially up to 180,000 passengers
To accommodate demand, the company plans to operate 7,000–8,000 bus trips per day and deploy an additional 1,200 buses (Category 30), while ensuring that no passengers are left behind.
